Cookies and localStorage are different
A cookie is a small value a browser can send with requests to a website. LocalStorage is browser storage that page scripts can read on the same origin; it is not automatically attached to every page request. Both can remember information between visits, so both deserve a clear explanation.
Storage used by this site
| Name | Type and purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| junglereelbiscut-consent | LocalStorage; remembers “accepted” or “essential” when you use the controls below | Until you clear it, the browser removes it or you choose Remove preference |
This value is not a tracking identifier and is not sent to an analytics service. Selecting Accept does not activate tracking: the supplied site contains no optional tracking system. Selecting Essential Only leaves the same reading and worksheet features available.
Cookie preferences
Both choices are available equally. Either stores only your selection in this browser. Removing the preference deletes that stored selection.
No preference has been read yet. JavaScript is needed to read or change local storage here.
What is not stored
The contact worksheet does not save names, email addresses, message text or generated drafts in cookies or localStorage. Open navigation state and reveal-animation state are temporary page behavior, not a visitor profile. A downloaded contact draft is a file you control, not a cookie.
Browser controls
You can remove site data through your browser’s privacy settings. Private-browsing modes and storage-blocking settings may prevent a selection from persisting. Removing site data on one device does not clear another device or browser profile. Essential reading does not require a stored choice.
Hosting and external sites
Hosting infrastructure may have separate operational behavior, and source links lead to other organizations with their own cookie practices. This policy describes the storage created by the supplied site code, not a claim about every external service. The privacy policy explains technical requests and email correspondence.
